Stir It UpKingstown, St. Vincent, November 30, 2017: The CARICOM Youth Ambassadors of SVG will be hosting a facebook live discussion on things that perpetuate gender inequality and violence against women (in all forms) in SVG (Social, Economic, Financial, Political, etc). The Panelist for this discussion are Mr. kezron Walters; President ULP Youth arm, Mr. Kinsha Horne; president of the NDP Youth Arm, Ms. Lesha Richardson; Sister of Domestic Violence Victim, hosted by Mr. André Browne; CARICOM (Male) Youth Ambassador. All youths are invited to participate in this live discussion on the factors that fuel gender inequality and violence against women in SVG. The Discussion begins tonight at 6:30 pm The discussion will be broadcast live on the CARICOM Youth Ambassadors SVG facebook page and shared to the JSR Communications Online tv (Website only). The CARICOM Youth Ambassador Programme (CYAP) was established in 1993 with two Youth Ambassadors appointed from each country. The CYAP acts as the regional network of Caribbean young people and provides a platform for youth participation in CARICOM decision making. Young Ambassadors are the link between the issues and priorities of CARICOM and young people in their national countries. The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is a regional inter-governmental organisation consisting of 15 Caribbean Member States and five Associate Member States. |
